Capacity building initiatives
In June-July 2026, G-NEXID is organizing an online training on fintech, cybersecurity and digital risk management, focusing on the following themes:
- Session 1: Digital transformation and fintech for public development banks
- Session 2: Cybersecurity and cyber resilience for public development banks
- Session 3: Digital risk management, operational resilience and regulatory governance
- Session 4: Strategic roadmap and collaboration among G-NEXID members
From October 2025 to March 2026, G-NEXID organized an online training initiative on the financing dimensions of food security, focusing on the following themes:
- Session 1: Food security and the financing challenge in developing countries
- Session 2: Financing sustainable agrifood systems – the role of public development banks
- Session 3: Designing impact-oriented financial strategies and instruments
- Session 4: The Global Agriculture and Food Security Program (GAFSP) and the new Business Investment Financing Track (BIFT)
- Session 5: Advancing South-South cooperation through investment and co-Financing platforms
- Session 6: Policy Dialogue and Way Forward
In 2024-2025, G-NEXID organized an online training on sustainable infrastructure finance, focusing on the following themes:
- Session 1: International initiatives in sustainable infrastructure finance (4 July 2024)
- Session 2: Sustainable infrastructure finance: the perspective from development banks and EXIM banks (26 September 2024)
- Session 3: The role of credit and investment insurers in sustainable infrastructure finance (29 October 2024)
- Session 4: Case study in transport and trade logistics. Why Invest in Türkiye: Logistics and sustainable infrastructure (4 December 2024)

In 2023, G-NEXID organised an online capacity building activity in trade finance for its members (from 24 May to 27 June).
In 2021 and 2022, G-NEXID organised 3 online capacity building activities in sustainable finance for its members:

Exchange Programmes
Exchange Programmes offer the opportunity for a member to present its institutional framework and products, and constitute a platform for dialogue with key governmental agencies and private sector representatives.
