On 14 September 2026, G-NEXID launched its 2026 flagship publication, Strengthening Trade and Related Finance for the Global South, at the networking reception of its 21st Annual General Assembly in Geneva.
The publication brings together the experiences of G-NEXID members to show how EXIM banks and development finance institutions can expand South-South trade. It highlights the need to combine trade finance with support for productive capacity, infrastructure, technology, value addition and sustainable growth.
Drawing on contributions from EBID, India Exim Bank, Ghana EXIM Bank, NEXIM Bank, Saudi EXIM Bank and TDB Group, the report explores practical approaches to closing financing gaps through guarantees, insurance, risk-sharing, co-financing and stronger institutional cooperation.
The publication reinforces G-NEXID’s role in knowledge-sharing, advocacy and partnership-building in support of more inclusive and resilient trade and development finance across the Global South.
