The Global Network of Export-Import Banks and Development Finance Institutions (G-NEXID) is a Geneva-based association of policy banks that facilitates cooperation among export-import banks and development finance institutions in support of South-South trade, investment and project finance.
Its activities are based on 5 pillars:
- Exchange of information and sharing of best practices
- Capacity building initiatives and exchange programmes
- Research and common publications
These pillars aim at facilitating international financial transactions between the members (notably lines of credit and co-financing) and enhancing the successful integration of developing countries’ firms in Global Value Chains (GVCs).
