Established on 13 March 2006, the Global Network of Export-Import Banks and Development Finance Institutions (G-NEXID) is a Geneva-based association of public development banks.
G-NEXID aims to foster trade and investment within the Global South through collaboration among its Member Institutions.
Our activities are based on 5 pillars:
- Networking
- Exchange of information and sharing of best practices
- Capacity building initiatives and exchange programmes
- Research and common publications
- Advocacy
In other words, G-NEXID provides a platform for the sharing of information, ideas, and experiences among export-import banks and development finance institutions on how to ensure the availability of trade and development finance, with the view to improving South-South trade and development.
