North-South and triangular partnerships with Southern DFIs: Addressing funding gaps in developing economies in support of the SDGs

Held in the framework of the 18th Annual General Assembly, in Geneva, on 6 July 2023, this workshop addressed the opportunities arising from North-South and triangular partnerships with Southern DFIs for SDGs Aligned Finance in developing countries and benefited from the contributions of 4 perspectives:

• The perspective on triangular cooperation of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).
• The opportunities of collaboration on private sector sector development in Sub-Saharan Africa with the European Investment Bank (EIB) Global.
• the role of UNDP Sustainable Finance Hub in in unlocking private capital and aligning business operations for the SDGs through North-South and triangular partnerships with Southern DFIs.
